Deprecated. use getInitiatingUserUID() instead

Returns the login name of the user that created this trigger. Only useful for older triggers because with 7.0 this information has been replaced by the users unique UID.

Returns the unique user UID of the current user who executed the action that fired this trigger.

user UID

Returns the server instance or null if running within the server process.
