A new Crop Template is created by duplicating an existing one and adapting its settings:
1. Select Cumulus / Edit > Preferences.
2. Click Crop Templates.
3. Under Crop Template, select the one you want to be the basis for the new one.
4. Click Duplicate. The Name and Settings dialog opens.
5. Enter a name for the new template.
NOTE: You must not use the minus and underscore characters (“-” and “_”) in template names!
6. Define the following options:
• Activate Allow Sharing to make the template available for the Media Delivery Cloud (MDC) and Media Delivery on Premise (MDO), or to make it available for other users.
• Activate Copy display names only, if you also want to take over the language-specific display names from the original (not recommended for new crop templates).
• Activate Copy description only, if you also want to take over the descriptions specified for other languages from the original (not recommended for new crop templates).
7. Click OK.
8. Define the settings of the new Crop Template (see Overview: Crop Templates for an overview of available options).
9. Click Apply to save your changes.
To change an existing Crop Template:
1. Select Cumulus / Edit > Preferences.
2. Click Crop Templates.
3. Under Crop Template, select the one you want to edit.
